Denver & Capitol Hill Neighborhood Events: Doors Open Denver

Looking for things to do in Denver Saturday and Sunday, April 14 and 15? Doors Open Denver is a two day event where 70 Denver landmarks and buildings will be open to the public for tours. It’s a once a year event that gives you special access to see inside these architectural landmarks. One of my favorite sites that I’m super excited to see again is the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art. It’s located in the very walkable Capitol Hill neighborhood in downtown Denver. The museum has over 3,300 pieces encompassing the Arts & Crafts, Bauhaus, Art Deco, and Modern and Pop Art genres. There are paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and furniture to see. Denver Congress Park Neighborhood Hosts Summer Concerts

Pack your wine and lawn chair and spend your summer evenings in Denver enjoying one of the 15 outdoor concerts in the Congress Park neighborhood. The concerts I'm speaking about are held at the Denver Botanic Gardens on their sunken amphitheater lawn. It's a truly breathtaking venue surrounded by summer blossoms.
