Observatory Park is a lovely, well-established Denver neighborhood within walking distance to the University of Denver or DU as the locals refer to it. The name comes from the University of Denver’s Chamberlin Observatory which is located in the heart of the neighborhood. The Observatory was renovated in 2008 and hosts many events which are often free to the public.
